Located in Cairns’ popular dining precinct, Wild Thyme is a restaurant with a difference, serving great food with flavours from across the globe while promoting social inclusion, connection, & cultural diversity through their social enterprise and training programs. 

With a focus on food and community, the team at Wild Thyme have a strong commitment to improving the lives of others by providing over 300 pre-prepared meals each week to charity organisations to feed those in need through their FoCo (Feeding our Community ourselves) Kitchen initiative.

Our Chefs

The team, led by well known chef, Catherine Pacey present delightful menus with an eclectic combination of dishes from across the globe.  Wild Thyme food is soulful and there is something to suit everyone, no matter your status as carnivore, vegan or anything in between.  The ingredients they love are locally sourced, sometimes surprising, but perfectly executed, with pairings of herbs and spices and introductions of new ingredients to create a fusion of flavours for you to enjoy.
