HELPING PEOPLE. CHANGING LIVES
ONE HEALTHY & DELICIOUS MEAL AT A TIME

Our Community Work

The Wild Thyme team pride themselves on making a difference in the lives of others.

With a ‘people over profit’ philosophy and a commitment to their FoCo (Feeding our Community ourselves) Kitchen initiative, pre-prepared meals are provided each week to local charitable organisations to feed those in need.

Social inclusion, connection and cultural diversity are at the heart of operations at Wild Thyme, ensuring we build strong relationships throughout the community.

For 'Love Not Money’, 100 percent of profits go into making the world a better place.

Some Wild Thyme Initiatives

Started by National Joblink, Wild Thyme is a not-for-Profit Social Enterprise.   Social inclusion, connection and cultural diversity are at the heart of operations at Wild Thyme, ensuring we build strong relationships throughout the community.

Feeding our community

With a ‘people over profit’ philosophy and a commitment to their FoCo (Feeding our Community ourselves) Kitchen initiative, over 300 pre-prepared meals are provided each week to local charitable organisations to feed those in need.

Education and employment opportunities

One of our restaurant’s missions is to give experience, training, confidence and employment…. Everyone is embraced and provided an opportunity to thrive – no matter what their starting point.

Aging Community Outreach

Breaking the barriers of social isolation and building connection across the generations. NJL & Wild Thyme hosts free afternoon high teas for the elderly – we serve up care alongside cake and coffee.

Social inclusion and connection

We know how hard it can be to move to a new country, Wild Thyme & NJL welcome refugees and new migrants to our city through My Story Breakfasts
